What Is Our Purpose

To Welcome International Military Students and help connect them with local families as “Friendship Partners.” We do this by partnering with the IMSO* at Ft. Connecting hundreds of international students with local Christian families through friendship.

Bridging Cultures

Students get to know local Americans and experience America in an authentic, relational way. Friendship Partners are able to learn about the student’s countries and cultures. This is an amazing opportunity to learn and know the world!

Building Friendships

Our desire is to see lasting friendships develop. Friendship Partners enjoy getting to know students / welcome students into their lives by inviting them into their homes, showing them around Columbus, taking them to nearby sites, joining IFM events, & celebrating with the student as they graduate. Some sponsors have visited students in their home countries after they returned.

Transforming Lives

The outcome is long-term change in the lives of students and sponsors. As they share in life together, the love of Christ is experienced. Both begin to see the world in a new way and live life more fully.
